Hey, I'm Jeff. If you've landed on this page, chances are you need your guitar to be... better.  Whether it's a treasured old friend, or a newly-acquired eBay find, almost any guitar could use some TLC to reach its full playing potential.

Well, I want your guitar to play like the dream you've always imagined. When your guitar is finely tuned, it allows you to find your potential, as a player.

With the advent of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) routers and other such equipment, guitars no longer have to be expensive in order to play well, and in most cases, play excellently—if properly set up! The "good bones" of a well-made and finished body, and a perfect neck—these roll off factory lines around the world in 2024, and can often be had for $200... or less!  Where so many of the lower-priced options are lacking is attention to detail, such as fretwork, which is usually easily fixed, and for less money than you might imagine.

In case you think I'm exaggerating, watch a couple of minutes of Lester Mitchell, interacting with a 13yo peer of his, named Tyler. Tyler showed Lester (who is ~20 years older than Tyler) how to do "selective picking," and Lester demonstrates here. That Fesley FLP-350 can be had right this minute (11/09/2024) for $189.99. That's not a typo—under $200! Of course, that guitar is set-up very nicely! And yours can be, too.

I'm an older guy, so I remember when it definitely wasn't this way. Guitarists on a budget have never had more options for choosing a life-long playing partner than they do, today.

So, let me know if I can help!  Text me at the number in the graphic at the top of the page to get the ball rollin'. That's my Nashville Google Voice number, and it's not set up to accept voice calls or voicemails*, so any hour is good. I'll hit you back ASAP if I'm not awake or available when you text. And if you just want to chat (always free when I have time), I might shoot you a link to a friendlier chat site, like reddit.

Rock on, y'all, and let's play!

* If you do call it, you'll hear Elias Toufexis (narrator of this clip) from the TV show The Expanse, telling you all that in a smart-a**, sci-fi way; yes, I'm a huge fan of the show (it says so, right on the hat!). 😉
